Giochi medievali (The Castellina Scalo Neighbourhoods – Medieval games)

Created in 1977, the association assembles the four neighbourhoods of Castellina Scalo (Campi, Shanghai, Fiume, Castello). They organize several activities during the year, and in particular the “Festa dei Rioni di Castellina Scalo” (“Festival of the Castellina Scalo Neighbourhoods”) through a committee made of representatives of all neighbourhoods. They regularly take part in the Medieval Festival of Monteriggioni, participating also in the re-enactment activities. This year they propose games that will liven up streets and squares of the castle; in particular, people will have fun with the game of the barrel, the nutcracker, the wheels of fortune and the “barberi”.
