La Bu’a De’ Frati – Siena Club Corrente Bianco Nera

The Siena Club Corrente Bianconera was created in 2003 when the football team Robur Siena A.C. reached Serie A. The founding members are 12 supporters living in the Municipality of Monteriggioni; the club itself is based in Castellina Scalo. They organize several events, mainly linked to the world of football. The members often have dinners at the club’s headquarters and contribute to an international solidarity project in favour of the street children in Paranaque (poor neighbourhood of Manila, Philippines), through the non-profit association "Perla Associazione per l'altro Onlus". Some of the members are particularly good at cooking and take delight in preparing ancient recipes; at the festival they will also have game meat sausages (deer, fallow deer and boar), among their specialties.
