Our story starts from far away and just for fun, like all the best adventures of this and probably also of the afterlife world. In fact, in 1998, at the tender age of 16, the founders of the group began to attend the national scene of medieval re-enactment. But it was only after a long and rich journey of intra- and extrauterine experiences that, in April 2012, the Acrobati del Borgo were born. The Company, strengthened by a vigorous interpersonal enthusiasm and by an ineluctable love for the scene, the stage, the theater, the circus and the Middle Ages, soon moved on to attend the most representative Italian medieval re-enactment festivals. Having above all a strong, omniscient and omnipresent predisposition to fun, which can only be ideologically achieved through an “entertain while being entertained” kind of approach, they use the art of circus and theater in perfect jesting style to joyfully spread the art of amusement.
