Taverna dei Templari – Siena Baseball Monteriggioni A.S.D.

Founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of the multi-sports club of Badesse, in 2013 it became independent. The club is based at the yet unfinished Castellina Scalo baseball field. It deals with teaching and disseminating the practice of baseball and softball for males and females, mainly in the youth sector, working with primary and secondary schools as well as organizing summer fields and tournaments. Since 2009 the sporting club takes part in the Medieval Festival of Monteriggioni, with a tavern where, among other dishes, you can taste their specialty, the "Pici cacio e pepe".
