Children’s Middle Ages

Children’s Middle Ages: from educational workshops to games on medieval themes, from tournaments to adventures between history and legend in the Monteriggioni castle.

Approaching ancient crafts through workshops devoted to rediscover bygone knowledge, a playful confrontation between knights, getting lost in adventure along alleyways and squares are at the centre of a series of initiatives conceived for the youngest visitors.

Every day of the festival from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., starting from Piazza 1° Maggio, it will take place “The Trail of the Knights”, a trip along the town’s streets, recruiting, dressing up, involving young participants (organised by "The Time Travellers").

From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 p.m. onwards, at the entrance to the South Battlement, there will also be educational workshops for young history fans on the the title of “The Middle Ages in the hands” (organised by "Athena Association").
