Archeòtipo, is a spin-off company of Siena University, operating on the Cultural Heritage market and proposing solutions which cover the long process of acquiring, processing and disseminating archaeological knowledge.
Communication, teaching and cultural tourism have always been central sectors of its offer. Archeòtipo creates cognitive paths based on a "touch the past" approach: living in first person habits, crafts and moments of everyday life; dressing, eating, working according to the ways of the past. Such an action line is achieved by integrating archaeology, digital tools, experimental practices and, above all, by placing the materiality of history at the center of a communicative approach to be carried out through the means of historical reconstruction.
This kind of highly immersive and engaging experiences are proposed to children and adults alike. The archaeologists of Archeòtipo provide a new perspective through which looking at history; they try to shorten the distance with a discipline that, if communicated in an old-fashioned way, doesn’t usually stir people up.
